There is a real fear the US workforce will see increased injuries and fatalities on the job now that the Trump administration has made significant cuts to three agencies involved in protecting worker health and safety. The three agencies are: National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) .
Mark Barna from the American Public Health Association wrote about the harsh realities of what could follow now that the cuts have gone into effect.
